Vietnam aims to reduce the area under caffeine plantation to 600,000 hectares (1.48 million acres) by 2020, of which 88 percent is in the Central Highlands, based on the Agriculture Ministry, the dang ky nhan hieu quoc te Dan (People) magazine reports.
The provinces growing coffee will ensure irrigation and raise the quality of the produce, the survey said.
