đ?ng k? logoAt least 4,000 hectares (nearly 10,000 acres) of coffee in the central highland provinces of Daklak, Lam Dong and đ?ng k? nh?n hi?u Kontum are suffering from water shortages, the Nhan Dan (People) newspaper reports, citing local irrigation departments.

Water in the provinces' lakes have dropped to low levels, while sunny days are forecast ahead, the report said.

The dry season is at its peak in the Central Highlands region, which turns out about 80 percent of the coffee output of Vietnam, the world's largest robusta producer.
